FFn is the international magazine published from the UK on the design and competitive flying of Free Flight duration model aircraft
The magazine is published 12 times per year and is distributed by mail and e-mail. It is a non-profit-making venture produced in the spare time of the editorial team and has been published continuously since 1969. The contents of FFn include plans, model descriptions, technical analyses of designs and performance, contest reports and other information about free flight contest flying. There is also a noticeboard section which contains details of specialised FF items for sale and is open for free small-ads from readers. The scope of FFn is duration model aircraft in the categories FAI, open, mini and indoor, in the forms rubber, power (i/c, electric and CO2), handlaunch, catapult, slope soaring and towline glider.
The magazine is printed on A4 size paper, with plans normally drawn on a full sheet and the text in two columns per page. There is usually a minimum of 4 sheets per issue.
